B747Steps  COMMERCIAL PILOTS COURSE

Where you end up has a lot to do with the first steps you take.
In choosing to train with us you you've take the first step in the right direction. 

The Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL) course is designed to train the student from PPL level, up to the level of proficiency required for the issue of the CAAZ Commercial Pilot’s Licence.  The holder of the CPL is entitled to fly the aircraft endorsed on the licence for hire & reward.
The training is made up of both airborne & ground training, and is described below.

Ground School and Exams


We offer a state of the art CPL ground school course that meets the European Aviation Safety Association (EASA) standards and is a distance learning based course. 

Places are limited and available on a first come first serve basis. 

On satisfactory completion of the course students will sit the CAAZ CPL exams which include the following:

  5. Navigation - Instruments
  6. Navigation - Flight Planning
  7. Navigation - Meteorology
  8. Aircraft technical - Theory of Flight

  10. Aircraft technical - Engines & Airframes
  11. Aircraft technical - DC Electrics
  12. Aircraft technical - Propellers
  13. Aircraft technical - Hydraulics
  14. Signals - Morse Code
