- Location, operation and limitations of the safety equipment carried on board
- Fire extinguishers, first-aid kit, ELT/beacon, life jackets and life raft where fitted
- Emergency evacuation and rapid egress drills
- Ditching, brace positions and survival on land and on water
- Smoke or fumes in the cabin and cockpit
- Passenger safety briefings, and managing passengers under stress
- Emergency communications and alerting search and rescue
How often you need it
SEPT is renewed annually. Book a refresher every 12 months to stay current — it runs in a single day, so it’s easy to keep on top of.
